BLUE WIND　Suite for Concert Band
First movement of a suite entitled Trekker (Voyageur) which was composed for the 10th anniversary of a Brass band in Osaka (Japan). This work is conceived after impressions of the journey to Europe by this composer : beautiful landscape, verdure, breeze in the blue sky ... The premiere was in December 1995 in Osaka, since then, this music was replayed by la Musique des Gardiens de la Paix de Paris in France and also in Japan. The 1st movement was chosen for the exam of the French Music Federation in 1999/2000.

陸上自衛隊第２混成団音楽隊（香川県善通寺市、現在の第十四音楽隊）第２０回定期演奏会記念委嘱作品。自衛隊音楽隊の勇壮さと，海を渡る風のすがすがしさをイメージした作品で，2000年12月3日、当時の藤後誠二隊長（一等陸尉）の指揮により香川県多度津町民会館にて初演。 2001年パリ・ギャルド・レピュブリケーヌ吹奏楽団日本公演の最終公演(10月24日，東京芸術劇場)のアンコール曲として演奏され、同年Bandworld Magazine 誌（米）によって，世界の"the Top 125"に選ばれた。2005年台湾吹奏楽コンクール・中学校部門課題曲。演奏時間：約４分半。

LES ALIZES
This music for concert band was composed at the request of “Second Combined Brigade Band of Japan Ground self-Defense Force” to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The premiere was in December 2000 in Tadotsu (Prefecture of Kagawa) under the direction of Captain Seiji Togo. In this work, the composer describes the bravery of the military band and fresh wind on the sea. This piece was replayed in Tokyo as one of encores by l'Orchestre d'Harmonie de la Garde Republicaine during their music tour in Japan in October 2001, and was chosen as “the Top 125 of the world” by the “Bandworld Magazine” in the USA (2001). It was also chosen for the Brass Band Competition in Taiwan (2005).

Cette oeuvre pour orchestre d'harmonie a été composée à la demande de l'un des orchestres de l'Armée de Terre Japonaise, le “Second Combined Brigade Band of Japan Ground self-Defence Force” pour commémorer le vingtième anniversaire de sa fondation. Elle a été jouée pour la première fois en décembre 2000 à Tadotsu (dans le département de Kagawa, province de Shikoku) sous la direction du Capitaine Seiji Togo. La compositrice a voulu exprimer la bravoure de l'orchestre militaire et en même temps la fraîcheur du vent sur la mer. Cette pièce a été rejouée comme bis par l'Orchestre d'Harmonie de la Garde Républicaine lors de sa tournée au Japon en octobre 2001 à Tokyo, et a été choisie dans “the Top 125 of the world” par la “Bandworld Magazine” aux États-Unis en 2001. Elle a été imposée pour les concours pour orchestre d'harmonie à Taiwan en 2005.

LEGENDS OF THE EAST　Suite for Concert Band
This suite of two movements was written at the request of Takamatsu Wind Symphony to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The premiere was in Takamatsu(Prefecture of Kagawa) in April 2004. The composer wrote this music by taking her inspiration from a dream that she had had:
The scene takes place in an old Japanese Shinto shrine before the day breaks. Dozens of persons dressed in white ancient costume are sitting on their heels on the ground facing toward the east. There is a little chill in the air. When the sun rises, they stand up and begin to dance together... It was an elegant and solemn dance to pray, the dance of Shinto of the sunrise country...

Cette suite à deux mouvements a été écrite à la demande de l'orchestre d'harmonie “Takamatsu Wind Sympnohy” pour commémorer le vingtième anniversaire de sa fondation et a été jouée pour la première fois à Takamatsu (dans le département de Kagawa, province de Shikoku) en avril 2004. La compositrice l'a écrite en s'inspirant d'un rêve oriental qu'elle avait fait : La scène se déroule avant le lever du jour, dans le jardin d'un vieux temple shintô. Quelques dizaines de personnes portant d'anciens costumes tout blancs sont assis sur les genoux en direction de l'est. L'air frais s'étend tout autour. Quand le soleil se lève, ils se lèvent et commencent à danser tous ensemble. C'est une danse de prière du shintoisme élégante et solennelle du pays du soleil levant...

L'ARC-EN-CIEL　for Concert Band
This piece was composed at the request of Osaka Municipal Symphonic Band (Japan) and the premiere was in Osaka in April 2008 by this band under the direction of Kazuhiko KOMATSU. One day in high summer, a beautiful rainbow appeared in the town where the composer lives. She got the impression that she could reach it very easily. Sparkling colors in the blue sky inspired her with light and colored melody.

L'ARC-EN-CIEL　for Concert Band
Cette oeuvre a été écrite à la demande de l'Osaka Municipal Symphonic Band (Japon) et créée à Osaka au mois d'avril 2008 par ce même orchestre sous la direction de Kazuhiko KOMATSU. Un jour d'été, un grand arc-en-ciel est apparu dans la ville de la compositrice. Elle a eu l'impression de pouvoir l'atteindre très facilement. Les couleurs étincellantes dans le ciel bleu lui inspirèrent une mélodie légère et colorée.

●「セドナ」アルト・サクソフォンと吹奏楽のための協奏曲
　 SEDNA　 Concerto pour Saxophone alto solo et Orchestre d'harmonie （Robert Martin）

「セドナ」SEDNA は、2004年３月、NASAによって発見された冥王星の外側にある矮小惑星で、イヌイットの海の女神セドナにちなんで名付けられた。フランスで開催された、第１回ランベルサール国際吹奏楽作曲コンクール・アルトサクソフォン協奏曲部門、第１位受賞作品。2006年10月22日、ランベルサールのアンドレ・マルローホール（Salle Andre Malraux）で公開の演奏会形式で行われたコンクールの最終審査で、ミッシェル・モワスロン大尉（Capitaine Michel MOISSERON）指揮、フランス機動憲兵隊軍楽隊（L'Orchestre d'Harmonie de la Gendarmerie Mobile）演奏、ダニエル・グルメル（Daniel GREMELLE）独奏により初演され、後にこのサクソフォニストに捧げられた。

SEDNA　Concerto for Alto saxophone and Concert band
"Sedna" is a small planet outside of the Pluto, discovered by the NASA in March 2004. It was named Sedna after a marine goddess of the Inuit. This concerto was submitted to the “Lambersart International Brass Band Composition Competition 2006” in the category of “Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Brass Band”. In the finale of the competition, it was executed by l'Orchestre d'Harmonie de la Gendarmerie Mobile (or the French Military Police Band) under the direction of Captain Michel MOISSERON, with soloist Daniel GREMELLE. It won the first prize and was dedicated to this saxophonist.

SEDNA　Concerto pour Saxophone alto solo et Orchestre d'harmonie
"Sedna" est une petite planète au-delà de Pluton, découverte par la NASA en mars 2004. On lui a donné le nom de la déesse de la mer inuite. Cette oeuvre a été présentée au "Concours International de Composition pour Orchestre d'Harmonie à Lambersart 2006" dans la catégorie "Concerto pour saxophone alto et orchestre d'harmonie". A la finale du concours, elle a été jouée par l'Orchestre d'Harmonie de la Gendarmerie Mobile, sous la direction du Capitaine Michel MOISSERON, avec soliste Daniel GREMELLE. Elle a obtenu le premier prix et est dédiée à ce saxophoniste.

●組曲「青銅のイノシシ」全３楽章　Il Cinghiale di bronzo　（De Haske）

この作品は、アンデルセンの童話「青銅のイノシシ」が題材になっていて、「星空を翔る夢」「ポルタ・ロッタ通り」「アルノ川の夕べ」の３楽章から成る。阪急商業学園（現、向陽台高等学校）の鈴木竹男氏から「アンデルセンの童話を題材に、３部作の吹奏楽作品を書いて欲しい」という依頼を受けて書いた、吹奏楽のための組曲「みにくいアヒルの子」に続く２作目である。
「青銅のイノシシ」は、画家を目指す少年と青銅のイノシシの物語で、フィレンツェが舞台になっている。広場にあるイノシシは、普段は口から澄んだ水が流れ出る青銅の像だが、無邪気な子供が背に乗ると、その間だけ走ることができるという筋書き。作曲者はこの組曲を書くにあたり、実際にフィレンツェの街を訪れて、ポルタ・ロッサ通りやウフィツィ美術館でイノシシの像を見て、作曲のイメージを膨らませた。2003年初頭に作曲、その３月、阪急商業学園の定期演奏会（大阪シンフォニーホール）で鈴木氏の指揮で初演された。演奏時間：約１０分。

IL CINGHIALE DI BRONZO　Suite for Concert Band
This suite containing three movements was written at the request of Takeo Suzuki, director of Hankyu Wind Band. It's based on the fairy tale “Bronze boar” by Hans Christian Andersen. Titles of each movement: Flying dreams in a Starlight Sky, La Via Porta Rossa, and Twilight on the Arno River. The premiere was in March 2003 in Osaka (Japan) under the direction of Suzuki. This is a story about a boy who wishes to become a painter, and a boar made of bronze. The setting of this story is in Florence, ancient art center of Renaissance. The boar fountain is still now situated at the corner of the ancient street, Via Porta Rossa. Before writing this suite, the composer visited Florence to get inspiration.

Cette suite a été écrite à la demande de Takeo Suzuki, directeur musical de l'Orchestre d'Harmonie Hankyu. Elle est basée sur le conte “Le Sanglier de Bronze” de l'écrivain danois Hans Christian Andersen et contient trois mouvements : Flying dreams in a Starlight Sky, La Via Porta Rossa, et Twilight on the Arno River. La première a eu lieu en mars 2003 à Osaka (Japon) sous la direction de Suzuki. C'est l'histoire d'un garcon désirant devenir peintre et du Sanglier de Bronze. La scène se passe à Florence, foyer des arts de la Renaissance. Le fontaine du Sanglier se trouve toujours à l'angle de la Via Porta Rossa. Avant d'écrire cette suite, la compositrice s'est rendue à Florence pour s'en inspirer.

「バベルの塔」Tower of Babel 　「ダブリン・ダンス」Dublin Dances 　（De Haske）

1990年夏、作曲者は約１ヶ月間ヨーロッパを自由に旅し、スペインにも足を伸ばして、幾つかの街を訪れた。その中でも、コルドバ、グラナダ、マラガなどのアンダルシア地方の街々を訪れた時の印象が深く心に残った。青い空と白い壁、照りつける太陽。アラブやユダヤの伝統が残っている街の路地には、それぞれに独特の雰囲気が漂っていた。その時の印象をもとに書かれた作品である。2004年2月から3月にかけて作曲された。演奏時間：約5分。

ANDALUSIA
In the summer of 1990, the composer traveled around the Europe for about a month, she also went to Spain. Among the cities that she visited, those in Andalusia region such as Cordoba, Granada and Malaga impressed her very strongly. The blue sky, white walls and the sunshine charmed her. Each alley having the traditions of Arab, Islam or Judah was producing very unique atmosphere and took the author to the outside of time. This piece was written from March to April 2004.

ANDALUSIA
En été 1990, la compositrice a voyagé en Europe pendant environ un mois au cours duquel elle a visité l'Espagne. Parmi les villes qu'elle a visitées, celles d'Andalusia comme Cordoba, Granada et Malaga l'ont beaucoup impressionnée. Le ciel bleu, les murs blancs et le soleil l'ont charmée. Chaque ruelle reflétant toujours la tradition arabe, islamique ou juive rendait l'atmosphère très originale et a fait voyager l'auteur dans le temps. Cette pièce a été écrite de mars à avril 2004.

●「ブルゴーニュの葡萄畑で」Les Vendanges　（すみやグッディ株式会社）

香川大学吹奏楽団の第３０回定期演奏会記念委嘱作品。フランスの広大な葡萄畑での収穫時の活気と喜びに満ちた風景と、豊穣への感謝の祈りを表現している軽快な曲。1999年11月21日、香川県県民ホール・グランドホールで初演された。演奏時間：約４分。

LES VENDANGES
Composed at the request of Brass band of Kagawa University (Japan) to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The composer describes the atmosphere at the harvest of grapes in Bourgogne in France. The premiere was in December 1999.

阪急商業学園の鈴木竹男氏からの委嘱作品。アンデルセンの童話「みにくいアヒルの子」をテーマにした全４楽章の組曲。各楽章は「森の春」「アヒルのお散歩」「沼の冬」「大空への出発（たびだち）」。2003年阪急商業学園第４３回定期演奏会にて鈴木竹男氏の指揮にて初演（大阪シンフォニー・ホール）。演奏時間：約１６分

LE VILAIN PETIT CANARD　Suite for Concert Band
This suite was written at the request of Takeo Suzuki, director of Hankyu Wind Band. It's based on the fairy tale “Ugly duckling” by Hans Christian Andersen. There are four movements: Un printemps en foret (A spring in the forest), Les petits canards en balade (Ducklings march), L'hiver au lac (The winter at the lake), and L'envolee celeste (Flying into the sky). The premiere was in March 2003 under the direction of Suzuki.

Cette suite a été écrite à la demande de Takeo Suzuki, directeur musical de l'Orchestre d'Harmonie Hankyu. Elle est basée sur le conte “Le Vilain Petit Canard” de l'écrivain danois Hans Christian Andersen. Elle a quatre mouvements : Un printemps en forêt, Les petits canards en balade, L'hiver au lac, et L'envolée céleste. La première a eu lieu en mars 2003 sous la direction de Suzuki.

●吹奏楽のための幻想曲「茨木童子」〜羅城門の伝説〜　Fantasy “Ibaraki boy”（すみやグッディ株式会社）

平安時代、京都の羅城門で格闘の末、渡辺綱（わたなべのつな）に腕を切り落とされ、その後に綱の叔母に化けて腕を取り戻しに来たという伝説の鬼、茨木童子の物語に基づいた作品。能や歌舞伎の題材としても知られている鬼の話をテーマに、軽快で親しみやすい吹奏楽のための作品を書いて欲しいという鈴木竹男氏からの委嘱により作曲され、2004年９月４日、茨木市民会館で開催された「茨木市中学校合同演奏会」で、鈴木竹男氏の指揮で向陽台高等学校により初演され、茨木市に楽譜が贈呈された。演奏時間：約４分。

IBARAKI BOY　Fantasy for Concert Band
This work is based on the fairy tale of a Japanese legendary ogre “Ibaraki Boy” in the Heian period, from 8th to 12th century. It was written at the request of Takeo Suzuki, director of Hankyu Wind Band. The premiere was in September 2004 in Ibaraki (Japan) under his direction.

IBARAKI BOY　Fantaisie pour orchestre d'harmonie
Cette oeuvre est basée sur le conte de l'ogre légendaire japonais “Ibaraki Boy” à l'époque de Heian, du VIII ème au XII ème siècle. Elle a été écrite à la demande de Takeo Suzuki, directeur musical de l'Orchestre d'Harmonie Hankyu. La première a eu lieu en septembre 2004 à Ibaraki (Japan) sous sa direction.
